Cubix

#1...Best of Contest...Winner in the recent Maxis KNP contest.

FROM THE AUTHOR:

Cubix is a truly amazing puzzle game that I made using Maxis' Klik & Play. It is similar to the Rubik's Cube of the past - only far better! If you have Klik & Play this is an excellent reference piece for those interested in doing things previously thought impossible with KNP. For example, do you know how to make a KNP program that can keep up will all of the x values, y values, color values, an animation value, and their new values for every possible move (54 possible moves) for 28 pieces - and all in under 30 lines of code?

Well, this can. If you don't have KNP, it's still worth the download time, besides, it's freeware. What more could you ask for?

Hmmmm....beginning to see why he won this contest ....Silky

25 Number Game

WARNING: You cannot play The 25 Number Game if your keyboard does not have a number keypad.

The 25 Number Game is a simple, yet surprisingly difficult, puzzle game to master. The object of the game is to fill a 5 by 5 grid with the numbers 1 through 25 in the least amount of time possible. There are only a few rules. The better you do the harder it gets. it has a game show atmosphere, and there are even cheats and easter eggs. Tired of the same old Windows puzzle games? Want something different and unique? Here it is. And besides it's freeware.

Faces

I rarely recommend a must-download, but this is one. Something of a Tetris flavor...but yet not, hard to explain, wonderful to play. Author's descriptions can usually be taken with a grain of salt...this one is very accurate.

"Here is the latest version of my funny and addictive puzzlegame Faces. Infact the game is so addictive this is what's going to happen if you download it:
1. You start playing the game
2. When you loose you say "this was fun, I want to play again".
3. You play the game nonstop and every time you get game over you say "just one more time".
4. You forget all about the world around you and starve to death in front of your computer.
Have fun."

KNPTRIS

Wonderful adaptation of the classic Tetris......Silky

FROM THE AUTHOR:

K&PTRIS is a K&P-coded clone of the Russian classic TETRIS, which we all fondly remember from our wonderful golden-age Nintendo decks and our beeping little Game Boys. It's now here--in full freeware form--for YOU the K&P user to tinker with and explore. An excellent game, and the price is right--free. Playable by those of you who don't already have K&P as well. Features an awesome intro animation and a colorful help file.

Indoorfun

Another great puzzle game creation from Stoann

Tyler

Tyler is a well done Windows puzzle game. The object of Tyler is to move to every square on the board once and end on the finish square on last move. It's harder than it sounds. If you wait to long on any square you lose a life. The hardest part is keeping squares open so you don't run out of moves.

Good luck!

8 Queens

Klik Magazine issue 1, September 1995, EIGHT QUEENS.

Position eight queens on the chessboard so that no queen can capture another queen. 3-D graphics rendered in Autodesk 3-D studio.
